Prestigious and private community located in the East Bay area.
Hayward Hills is a beautiful and prestigious city located in Alameda County within the San Francisco Bay area. With gorgeous central bay shorelines, a quaint city center that offers a small-town feel, and breathtaking hills that overlook the bay, to say that the area is idyllic would be a serious understatement. What's more, the city’s hub of highways keeps everyone and everything connected, in both the bay area and the inland areas of California.
Real estate in the Hayward Hills area is highly sought-after, with gated enclaves of ultra-luxe residences often offering guard gates, stunning views, and all the most popular and exclusive amenities.
Breathtaking location close to the bay
Exclusive suburban feel with close proximity to the city
Unparalleled luxury real estates
Peaceful, laidback community feel
Beyond the bay, there is plenty for residents to see and do. Residents are afforded a truly spectacular natural landscape that makes enjoying the outdoors part of the everyday lifestyle, with neighborhood walking trails offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Hayward Hill's spectacular natural beauty and proximity to San Francisco has also made the area a destination for a number of residents and visitors alike.
No matter what you're looking for, from a great burger to a fine dining establishment with top-of-the-line service, Hayward Hills is sure to have it. Here are some of my favorites:
Stonebrae Country Club. Stonebrae Country Club members and their guests can enjoy a wide variety of dining options, including a delicious assortment of seasonal coastal cuisine creatively prepared by the club's executive chef and culinary team. The facility currently includes a members' grill, terrace, and full bar.
Acqua E' Farina. This quaint, family-owned Italian restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Hayward. The restaurant serves down-to-earth and authentic Italian cuisine with a great wine selection. Patrons can enjoy lunch or dinner paired with a rich dessert and classic cocktail.
Buon Appetito. This chain of restaurants offers three locations in the Bay Area, including Hayward. Buon Appetito offers contemporary Italian cuisine with a charming and fun ambiance. The Hayward restaurant is located in the heart of downtown and also offers a full bar service, recently expanded dining room, and outdoor patio dining.
Buffalo Bill's Brewery. In 1983, Buffalo Bill's Brewery pioneered a bold new direction in American brewing. Today, as one of the nation's oldest brewpubs, Buffalo Bill's continues to offer a great selection of outstanding craft beer, including year-round favorites and seasonal specialties.
Whether you're looking for a solo weekend getaway or an activity to entertain guests, here are some of my favorite things to do in and around Hayward Hills:
Ellie Mae Classic at Stonebrae Country Club. See the world's best golfers compete for coveted PGA Tour Cards. The Ellie Mae Classic at Stonebrae Country Club allows you to enjoy world-class golf with elite access. Private suites, clubhouse tickets, and ground tickets are available for this annual tournament.
Hayward Farmers Market. Offering fresh, delicious food and beautiful handmade crafts, the Hayward Farmers Market is one of my favorite attractions. The market is held every Saturday on Watkins Street in front of City Hall from 9AM to 1PM.
Hayward Japanese Garden. Located near downtown Hayward, the Hayward Japanese Gardens are the oldest Japanese gardens in California. Designed along traditional lines and maintained by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, this is a definite must-see.
Downtown Hayward. Downtown Hayward offers a number of small and locally-owned shops and restaurants. One major draw is Cinema Place, a new 12-screen theater on B Street with nearby shopping and restaurants.
Hayward Hills is widely known for its great school district. With a clear focus on student learning, students in Hayward Hills experience the very best in teaching and learning strategies based on sound research and continued professional development.
